Holiday Tours - BOOKING CONDITIONS & REGULATIONS

BOOKING CONDITIONS
Deposit of £50 per person required at time of booking
& full balance due within 42 days of departure date. If you have to cancel your booking, charges will apply; you must also communicate in writing to the company.  Cancellation will only be implemented on the day of receipt of your letter to the company. We reserve the right to cancel or modify the tour up to 8 weeks before departure date.  Minimum of 20 passengers will be required to operate any one tour. PLEASE NOTE THAT DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

HOW & WHERE TO BOOK YOUR HOLIDAY
Unit 1 Mead Lane Industrial Estate, Lydney (Opposite Royal Mail Office) Office Hours:  Mon-Fri 9.00am to 1.00pm & 2.00pm to 5.00pm. Telephone for availability & send deposits of £50 per person, cheques & all major credit cards accepted

TOUR PRICES
These have been calculated at current rates of exchange, VAT & shipping charges prevailing on 1st October 2009 .We reserve the right to surcharge unforeseen costs at 5% max.

TOUR PRICES

Are shown per person & include Financial Protection. (if you book with a competitor make sure they give you written financial protection) In accordance with "The Package Travel, Package Tours Regulations 1992" all passengers booking with James Bevan (Lydney) Ltd are fully Insured against financial failure for the initial deposit and subsequently the balance of all monies paid to us, including repatriation if required, arising from the cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of James Bevan (Lydney) Ltd. A certificate detailing this cover will be given to each & every passenger as evidence of cover. Please ensure that you have been given the appropriate certificate(s) at the time of booking.
 

DURATION OF TOURS
The day of departure & the day of returning are included in the number of days of the tour.  (e.g., 5 days = 4 nights) 

COMFORT STOPS
are normally after 2 hours driving time, due to Health & Safety compliance all passengers must disembark the coach at these stops. We do not encourage food to be consumed on the coach.

BAGGAGE
One medium size suitcase per person
max 20kgs per case.  One large case between two is not encouraged please spread the weight load due to Health & Safety Work Directives. If you cannot lift your own case, please consider other baggage handlers.

DISABLED FACILITIES
In general our tours are not suitable for severely disabled persons.  Only fold up wheelchairs & the Mini Mobility Type Buggies will be carried & numbers limited at our discretion.


BROCHURE & WEBSITE ACCURACY

Care is taken in compiling this brochure so please take note that the hotel facilities & tour itineraries are booked in good faith & to the best of our belief are available.  Sometimes for operational reasons the itinerary may have to be altered.


BOOKING Amendments/Changes

If for any reason you wish to make any amendments/changes or wish to transfer your holiday to a different departure date on your own account then an administration fee of £15 will apply.


TRAVEL INSURANCE

From 1st January 2010, the sale of travel insurance connected to holiday or related travel will be regulated by the Financial Services Authority.  As we do not hold the necessary authorisation we are no longer able to offer or advise on travel insurance related matters after this date.

It is a condition of booking that you are adequately insured for any of our holidays.  Prior to departure we will request that you provide us details of your insurers, policy number and the emergency contact number stated on your policy.  

CANCELLATION CHARGES

In the event of cancellations by you the client, the following terms apply;

Written cancellation must be received by James Bevan Ltd within the timescale of the following table.  If James Bevan Ltd (the operator) cancel the holiday then all monies paid in will be refunded to the client.

 

More than 42 days before departure

Loss of Deposit

35 - 42 days before departure

40 % Loss of total holiday cost

28 - 34 days before departure

60 % Loss of  total holiday cost

14 - 27 days before departure

80%  Loss of  total holiday cost

1 - 13 days before departure

100% Loss of total holiday cost
